The Industrial Design Engineering program prepares students to work in industrial design, mechanical design, fabrication and manufacturing areas as entry level designers, fabricators, mold-makers, prototype model-makers or Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technicians. The program emphasizes hands-on, project-based learning using industry-representative content and explores the intersection of digital, virtual technologies. The Level 2 certificate develops advanced skills in CAD, print-reading, visual communication, and digital fabrication technologies such as CNC machining, laser cutting and 3D printing. Students may need to pay a $20 materials fee for courses in this program.
