Includes studio and field assignments related to problems encountered while professionally photographing people and products. Advanced application of digital capture and data workflow using various digital format cameras. Students will be using digital single-lens reflex (DSLR), medium, and large format digital camera systems along with software to produce high-quality digital photographs. Studio and field assignments will provide opportunities for image capture and application of professional workflow, production, and lighting techniques. Field trips may be required.

Provides students with on-the-job experience in professional photography and related areas in an approved work site to strengthen and broaden skills in the workplace. A minimum of 54 clock hours per semester is required for each unit of credit. It is recommended that the hours per week are equally distributed throughout the semester.
